Competition Rules
(“Rules”)
1. By entering this Green Dads Competition (the “Competition”), entrants agree to be bound by these Rules.
2. The Competition is organized by Turnham Green LLP (partnership number OC330957) of Post Box 303, 315 Chiswick High Road, London W4 4HH (“Turnham Green”). Turnham Green reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition or the Rules at any time and any changes will be posted on Turnham Green’s website, www.turnham-green.co.uk (the “Website”).
3. Turnham Green reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it believes the entrant has breached any of these Rules.
4. Turnham Green cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Competition (or not entering) or as a result of accepting any prize. Nothing shall exclude Turnham Green's liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
5. In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to the Competition, the decision of Turnham Green shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
Qualifying Entrants
6. To enter the Competition the entrant must reside in the UK and must be in the age category according to their entry type.
7. This competition is not open to any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of the competition, or their direct family members.
8. To enter the Competition, entrants must send their entry and the completed Competition Entry Form (together the “Entry”) to Turnham Green at the address given overleaf and this must be received by Turnham Green by the date specified overleaf. Incomplete entries or those not received by the specified deadline will be disqualified. Proof of posting cannot be accepted as proof of delivery. Turnham Green cannot accept responsibility for any Entries delayed, lost or damaged.
9. By entering the Competition, you hereby warrant that all the information submitted by you in your Entry is true, current and complete. Turnham Green reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
10. Entries will not be returned to entrants.
Prizes
11. The Competition will be judged by Turnham Green and the decision of Turnham Green shall be final.
12. Only the winning entrant will be contacted by Turnham Green. The winners’ names will be published on the Website.
13. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be substituted for a cash alternative. Turnham Green reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value at any time.
14. Claims for prizes and arrangements for collection of the prize must be made by email to info@turnham-green.co.uk or telephone to 0797 221 6993 before June 30th.
15. In compliance with the Licensing Act 2003, the hamper prize is for the winner’s father and must be collected by a representative of the winner’s father who is aged 18 years or over.
Intellectual Property Rights & Data Protection
16. For each category, the winner's first name and a copy of his or her Entry may be published on the Website and used in future marketing materials.
17. In consideration of Turnham Green agreeing to consider entrants to the Competition, each entrant (and the Guardian signing the Competition Entry Form) hereby agrees that Turnham Green (and third parties authorised by Turnham Green) may make any and all Entries available on the Website and that Entries may be made available for future marketing materials. You now grant Turnham Green (and third parties authorised by Turnham Green) a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence (for the full period of any rights in the Entry) to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, make derivative works, store and sub-licence the Entry for such purposes. Turnham Green does not guarantee to use or otherwise make available any Entry.
18. Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and, under the supervision of an appropriate teacher or guardian, a photograph may be taken of the winning entrants. Any such photographs may be published on the Website or any other media and used in future marketing materials. Turnham Green reserves the right to use the names of winners, their photographs and their Entries in any publicity.
19. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual’s prior consent. Please see Turnham Green’s privacy policy for further details. Data relating to entrants will be retained by Turnham Green for a reasonable period after the Competition closes to deal with any queries on the Competition.
Jurisdiction
20. The Competition and Rules will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
