Note: Due to the cheese in this hamper, it is only available for delivery on the 2nd, 9th & 16th December. Orders for cheese must be received by the Saturday prior to delivery (although we are always grateful for more notice).
All other hampers (not containing cheese) are available for next day delivery.
Cheese tasting notes:
Bosworth Ash: a matured unpasteurised goat's cheese rolled in salted ash beneath a layer of white rind which creates a jagged, grey circumference when sliced. Garnished with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
Livarot: a semi-soft cow's milk cheese with a golden orange washed rind, bound in strips of raffia. Supple, springy texture scattered with small holes. Strong aroma with a more subtle taste that is slightly salty with a lemony tang.
Camembert: a soft subtle cow's milk cheese and bloomy white rind tinged with rust to show through (denotes matured on straw) and has a fruity aroma and rich earthy flavour.
Stilton: the king of cow's milk cheeses, the aroma is sharply nutty and the flavor is full of mellow nuts and fruit.
Cheddar: a cow's milk cheese with a really spicy aroma and a wonderfully complex flavour, beautiful. |
